The MuseDAM Figma Plugin creates a seamless two-way connection between Figma and your MuseDAM asset library. Designers can browse and import assets directly from MuseDAM into Figma while they work — and export finished designs straight back to MuseDAM in a single click. No platform switching, no manual file transfers.
Step 1 — Install the plugin
Search for MuseDAM in the Figma Community plugins directory, or go directly to the plugin page:
Step 2 — Run and sign in
Follow the in-plugin prompts to launch the plugin and sign in to your MuseDAM account.
The plugin works with both the Figma web app and the desktop app. It's free to install and available to all users.
Exported files are saved directly to the MuseDAM asset library associated with the account you're signed in to. From there, you can organize and share them like any other asset.
Check that the MuseDAM account you're signed in to has access to the relevant asset library folder. If you're still having trouble, reach out to your workspace admin to review your permission settings.
