Pending Inventory adds a review and information validation step before newly uploaded assets are formally added to the Asset Library. Assets can be held in Pending Inventory first, allowing teams to decide which files should be retained and complete any required information before adding them to the library.
This helps prevent temporary, invalid, or unnecessary files from entering the Asset Library while ensuring that approved assets are complete, consistent, and properly organized.
⚠️ Note: This step is for system admins. Team members can start directly from Uploading Assets to Pending Assets.
When there are many intake fields, enable Show required fields only in the upper-right corner. The page will then display only the fields that must be completed before the assets can be added to the library, making it easier to see what information is still missing.
Turn this option off to view and complete all available asset information.
💡 Note: The information you need to complete depends on the required intake fields configured by your workspace admin.
Admins can designate specific tags or metadata fields as required for asset intake based on the team's asset management standards. For example, marketing assets can be required to include key information such as brand, product, or project before they are added to the Asset Library.
After confirming the destination folder and asset information, click Confirm Inventory in the upper-right corner.
The system checks whether all required information has been completed:
If you're not ready to complete the intake process, click Cancel. The assets will remain in Pending Inventory so you can continue working on them later. They will not be deleted.
